An island nation, Seychelles is located in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar and about 1,600 km east of Kenya. The archipelago consists of 115 islands. The majority of the islands are uninhabited, with many dedicated as nature reserves. It’s home to numerous beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves, as well as rare animals such as giant Aldabra tortoises. Mahé, a hub for visiting the other islands, is home to capital Victoria. It also has the mountain rainforests of Morne Seychellois National Park and beaches, including Beau Vallon and Anse Takamaka. It is considered as the best location for scuba diving & beach. Day 1,Mahe
Despite the quiet reservation and slowness with customs officials at the small but very bright and airy airport, Mahe is simply Beautiful! it is very small and one can easily do a tour of the entire island, going round and sampling most of the sites and scenes of the island and still get time to swim in more than one beach all in one day! due to the devaluing of the local currency, most things in the local currency have shot up and this can be a pricey destination but worth every cent though.
Day 2,La digue
La Digue is an island in the Seychelles, in the Indian Ocean off East Africa. It’s known for its beaches, like Anse Source d’Argent, dotted with granite boulders, on the west coast. To the south, isolated Anse Bonnet Carré Beach, with calm, shallow water, is accessible only on foot, as is Anse Cocos Beach, in a protected bay on the east coast. La Digue’s diverse wildlife can be seen in the Veuve Nature Reserve.
Day 3,Praslin
Despite being the second biggest island in the Seychelles it has fraction of the population, inhabited by a mere 6,500 people. It is sleepy, laid back and far less developed than neighbouring Mahe, yet still large enough to explore when you tire of your nearest beach. The beaches on Praslin stand out, with famous names like Anse Lazio and Anse Geogette frequently making top ten lists of best beaches and most beautiful destinations worldwide
Day 4,Cote D’Or Beach
Cote D’Or Beach at Anse Volbert reminds me of the first time I tried Pinotage. I’d never liked red wine before then and most types are still not for me. But on my first glass I knew it was different; sweeter, fruitier, lighter. It was a perspective changer. heir busyness and just a general feeling that there were better things to see in the world. But Cote D’Or may be about enough to change at least part of my views. Located on the the North Eastern shore of Praslin Island it it is – according to my Lonely Planet guide – the most popular strip of beach on the island
Day 5,Vallée de Mai
In the heart of the small island of Praslin, the reserve has the vestiges of a natural palm forest preserved in almost its original state. The famous coco de mer, from a palm-tree once believed to grow in the depths of the sea, is the largest seed in the plant kingdom. Located on the granitic island of Praslin, the Vallée de Mai is a 19.5 ha area of palm forest which remains largely unchanged since prehistoric times. Dominating the landscape is the world's largest population of endemic coco-de-mer, a flagship species of global significance as the bearer of the largest seed in the plant kingdom.
Day 6,Fond Ferdinand
There is an equally-breathtaking panoramic view from Zimbabwe point. This spot in the north-west of the island is particularly nice at sunset. From Anse Boudin, drive up the road towards Zimbabwe until you reach the gates of a transmitting station. From here, you can head north to Aride, look west at Cousin and Cousine island, and east to Curieuse. La Digue and its surrounding islands can be seen to the south.The entrance fee here is much cheaper than at the Vallée de Mai, and a personal guide is always included.
